scienceS cool is a primary science education consultancy business that provides teacher workshops on pedagogy and science background knowledge.
Established in 2009 as 'Katherine Harris consultancy' it has had a name change and has since provided face-to-face professional learning for hundreds of teachers and worked with dozens of schools from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast and west to Laidley and Boonah.
Teacher professional learning is our core business but in 2012 scienceS cool also began resource development to support teachers to improve their confidence and competence to teach science.

Hi scienceS cool Blog followers,

PrimaryConnections at the Australian Academy of Science is host two professional learning workshops in Term 4.
The first is an Introduction to PrimaryConnections. This is ideal for classroom teachers and gives participants an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the underpinning principles of the program and how to get the best from it with their students.
The second is a new workshop, PrimaryConnections and the Australian Curriculum: Science. Ideal for teachers and Curriculum coordinators.
